For the past 10 years, Debbie Arenberg has been coming down to Ed Englander's house in Newton. She supplies the boats and instruction for what he has called Breakfast and Boating on the Charles. Ed has invited clients, friends and neighbors to the event. He would love to spread the word and invite folks from IROW to join the fun for breakfast and socializing before or after a row.
The Breakfast and Boating event starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 noon. Launching is from the dock behind his home at 35 Kingswood Road, Newton, MA. The upper Charles is a lovely place to row -- Ed usually rows to the Moody Street dam and back about 6K. Folks can also include as part of the row the Marriott Hotel which extends the row by 3 or 4K. For the non-rowers in the family there is breakfast and socializing on Ed's back lawn and if they'd like, instruction from Debbie.
